The On Course Foundation Charity

Flyover 18 are proud to announce that they have partnered with the On Course Foundation, a wonderful charity who support injured ex-service personnel through golf.

We look forward to working with them throughout the year.

New 2016  showreel released

During 2015 Flyover 18 filmed a wide variety of golf courses across the length and breadth of the UK.
We were privileged to film in St. Andrews, the home of golf, Nefyn Golf Club at the world famous “point” and a number of the top clubs across the country.

2016 will be an even stronger year for Flyover 18 as they develop not only in size but in what they are able to offer – amazing marketing opportunities that build the game of golf.

We look forward to working with you in the coming year.

The Million Pound marketing giveaway

In building Flyover 18 as a successful business, we chose to focus on what we wanted to achieve – building the great game of golf – rather than the money. It was always the right call to make, and we are very proud to announce that since we began, we have now given away, free of charge ONE MILLION POUNDS of marketing within the golfing industry. This has predominantly been to golf clubs, the grass roots of the game, but we have also done a variety of charity work and promotional videos for organisations..

We don’t get to showcase every piece of work we’ve done but we’re proud of everything we’ve accomplished.

What’s more exciting is that 2016 is going to even bigger… and even better. Keep your eyes peeled for some very exciting news coming very soon.

St. Andrews – The Home Of Golf

Despite what people say about Scotland, our visit to St. Andrews was not wet nor cold. Whilst there had been a bit of rain, it only enhanced our filming there, producing the most beautiful of rainbows and enhancing the green grass even more.

Whether its the splendour of the courses or just the tangible feel of history that surrounds the area we don’t know, but St. Andrews is definitely a most special place.

We look forward to returning for more filming in the new year.

England Golf

Charity has always been close to our hearts, and whilst we recognise so many worthy causes, we have been especially touched by the work of the On Course Foundation (http://www.oncoursefoundation.com) who provide rehabilitation to injured ex service personnel through golf.

They have been working with England Golf recently and we are proud to be working alongside them, in support of their charity. Thank you to Jamie Blair from England Golf who has been a great support, and we look forward to further work with all involved.

Peter Alliss Masters Challenge

There are countless privileges to working within Flyover 18. One of them is to spend time with Peter Alliss who is as everyone would expect, a perfect gentleman.

On the 6th & 7th October 2015, the 28th Peter Alliss Masters took part, a great charity in aid of raising money to buy powered wheelchairs for children with very limited mobility to improve their quality of life.

Held at the stunning venue of Old Thorns Golf Club, we filmed the event (posted soon) and had an amazing time. There were  a number of well known faces about, including David Coleman, Vic Armstrong and Tiff Needell, as well as the wonderful Peter and Jackie Alliss.

Thank you to everyone who made our time there easy, enjoyable and worthwhile. We look forward to presenting you with some great footage that can build upon the fantastic work that has been going on for so long.

A special thank you to our friend John Mundy at http://www.golfphotostore.co.uk/ who spent some time with us and took some great shots of the day.

Working With England Golf

Flyover 18 are proud to be working with England Golf and the On Course Foundation at the Kingsfield Golf Centre, Scotland, between the 28th-30th July.

We will be working to provide a promotional video which will simultaneously build the game of golf and promote how golf aids recovery to those whose lives are touched through injury or sickness.

The On Course Foundation vision is to transform the lives of wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans through the power of golf.

They have set themselves the ambitious challenge to be not only the dominant golf charity in the UK, but to be recognised among the top three UK military charities but 2020.

Filming Begins

We’re pleased to announce the beginning of the seasons filming which kicked off at South Herts Golf Club at the end of May. Since then we’ve filmed Nefyn Golf Club, Whitefield, Rutland Water and Tydd St. Giles. With the majority of the summer already booked up we’ve got a very full order book, which simply means we’re giving away nearly £750,000 of marketing videos and tools.

The Golf Guide Day

We were recently invited by our good friends at The Golf Guide to film one of their competition days at Hesketh Golf Club.

We had a blast (as did everyone else) and the winner from the day won a trip to Spain. The overall winner of the Spanish Final will win a trip to Mauritius. Not bad for playing a few rounds of golf!

Keep your eyes peeled as we film more competition and corporate days throughout 2015.

Day Out At Walmersley Golf Club

We’ve just spent the day filming for Walmersley Golf Club and doing some promotional work for ourselves. Great weather and a warm welcome from club made the day a great success.

We’ve Moved

It’s great when working relationships take off to another level. Lowes Park Golf Club were the very first club we filmed, and we’re looking forward to working with them in their centenary year. In fact our working relationship has developed so much that they have offered us an office in the club.

We’re super excited to be working at an actual golf club rather than just for one. We look forward to the opportunities this will present and we can all be certain that it will take our work to a new level as we experiment  with new and exciting filming opportunities. Stay tuned….

A Big Welcome To Peter Alliss

We are very proud to announce that with immediate effect, Peter Alliss has kindly agreed to work with Flyover 18 to lend his voice to our videos. “It’s an interesting form of promoting the game I love” said Peter Alliss as he was welcomed on board.

Now every club that comes on board with us for their video marketing has the option to either use their club PGA Pro for their videos, or they can have ‘the voice of golf’ himself – Peter Alliss – provide the voiceover…. the choice is yours, and we’re glad we don’t have to make that decision for you.

We’ve just completed a promo video for Farnell Jaguar. Check it out….
